Senior Technical Assistance Advisor
Susan Walsh is a Senior Technical Assistance Advisor in our Housing and Community Development practice area. Ms. Walsh provides technical assistance to governments and nonprofits that administer funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). She specializes in the Community Development Block Grant, Neighborhood Stabilization, and HOME Programs, and assists in building capacity of its Grantees to enable them to successfully implement these programs.
Since 2012, Susan Walsh has provided technical assistance to governments, nonprofits, and contractors in the areas of grant management and regulatory compliance, particularly for the CDBG, HOME, and NSP Programs. Previous to that, she worked for 30 years with federal grant programs in Hamilton County, (Cincinnati) Ohio, and has extensive experience and expertise working across the CPD portfolio of programs, including the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), Neighborhood Stabilization Programs (NSP), Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers, and the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP). She has particular expertise in the Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS).
