Principal, Chief Operating Officer, and General Counsel
Ms. Medina is responsible for the day-to-day management of Cloudburst’s $12 million project portfolio, including oversight of programs, personnel, budgets, and key risk areas. She has previously worked with universities, non-profits, government agencies, and law firms on strategic planning, organizational development, mediation, and negotiation.
For 22 years, she has been creating stronger and more effective organizations nationally and internationally. At Cloudburst for the last 12 years, she has been able to apply her passion for making a difference to oversees all Cloudburst projects, ensuring they are delivered in the company including providing quality assurance oversight and working with Cloudburst’s smart and talented staff to support them in executing highly valued work for our clients. She likes being a creative problem solver, innovative solution finder, and inventive puzzle assembler.
As Cloudburst’s general counsel in the highly regulated government contracting industry, Ms. Medina also provides legal advice about laws and regulations governing the company, corporate registration, ethics and compliance, labor and employment, contracts, and new business ventures.
Ms. Medina graduated magna cum laude with her law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. She has a master’s degree in International Development from Cornell University, and received her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, with a double major in Government and Psychology from the University of Notre Dame. Ms. Medina is a member of the Arizona Bar Association, Order of the Coif, American Bar Association, and Association for Corporate Counsel.
