Senior Technical and Management Advisor
Jon Kunz has over twenty years of experience in improving the capacity of public agencies and nonprofit organizations to effectively provide affordable housing and community development services to their constituents. Mr. Kunz has led Community Planning and Development practices, overseeing a broad range of planning, training, technical assistance and evaluation activities related to HUD-funded community development, affordable housing, and economic development programs. He is a recognized expert in HUD CPD planning, financial and reporting systems including the Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS) and the eCon Planning Suite, serving as a curricular designer and national trainer in the rollout of the Consolidated Plan, IDIS, and the eCon Planning Suite. He continues to work directly with HUD on Data Analytics, with a focus using HUD reporting and financial systems on grantee risk and performance analysis across CPD programs.
Mr. Kunz holds a B.A. in Economics from St. Lawrence University and a master’s in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
