Senior Communications Specialist

Scott Chamberlin is The Cloudburst Group’s Senior Communications Specialist, helping develop innovative communications across our practice areas. He brings to our team 30 years of applied and creative leadership in international development, nonprofits, and media. Most recently, he started up and led communications for Whole Child International, a nongovernmental organization supported by USAID for its innovative work across El Salvador’s systems of care for vulnerable children. He spent nearly four years at Steven Spielberg’s Shoah Foundation, developing innovative educational materials to teach tolerance and Holocaust history based on first-person testimonies of Holocaust survivors. He has also developed proposals, strategic plans, fundraising strategies, and other materials for USC (University of Southern California), California State University, and other university, medical, and nonprofit clients. Based in Los Angeles, he is also a co-founder of IndieCade (the International Festival of Independent Games) and is a photographer and writer. He has a Bachelor of Arts from USC in Creative Writing, American Literature, and Fine Arts, and is a member of the Pacific Council for International Policy.
