Senior Research Specialist
Dr. Adi Greif is The Cloudburst Group’s Senior Research Specialist working in Land Tenure & Natural Resource Management. She provides expertise on gender, qualitative research as well as experimental and quasi-experimental design and analysis.
Dr. Greif has seven years of experience with large-scale survey work and impact evaluations related to gender in the Middle East, North Africa, and sub-Saharan Africa. At The Cloudburst Group, she conducts survey analysis of women’s empowerment outcomes across multiple impact evaluations related to land tenure in Zambia, Ethiopia, and Liberia.
Previously, at SRI International, she helped to design and analyze impact evaluations of female education in Zambia and South Africa. Dr. Greif has also lived in and conducted interviews in Arabic in Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, and Tunisia. Her work has included regression discontinuity, instrumental variable, and randomized control trial designs.
Dr. Greif completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University’s Center for Democracy, Development, and Rule of Law (CDDRL). Dr. Greif received a Ph.D. in Political Science from Yale University in 2014.
